The Caverns May June 2026 concerts cover an unusually wide range of genres, from acoustic chamber music to progressive metal to one of the most creative bass players alive. The Caverns was named Theater of the Year at the 2026 ACM Awards, and the May and June lineup makes clear why. The cave stays 59 degrees year-round. The natural acoustics are unlike any built venue, and the artists who play here tend to treat it as something special.
The Getaway on Ranger Creek is approximately 30 minutes from The Caverns, one of the closest lodging options that isn’t on-site camping. If you’re planning a trip around any of these shows, booking early is worth doing. Units fill up fast on concert weekends.
The Caverns May June 2026 Headliners
John Butler with Band — May 1 and May 2
The Australian guitarist and songwriter brings his full band for two nights. John Butler has built a devoted following over 25 years through relentless touring and a sound that blends acoustic roots, funk, and rock in ways that are hard to categorize and easy to love. Two nights underground means two different setlists. Either night is worth the drive.
Punch Brothers — May 29
The Grammy-winning acoustic quintet led by Chris Thile has spent the better part of two decades pushing the boundaries of what a string band can do. Bluegrass technique, classical composition, indie rock sensibility. In a cave with natural acoustics, Punch Brothers is about as good as it gets.
Les Claypool with Primus, Les Claypool’s Frog Brigade, and The Claypool Lennon Delirium — June 5
This is a rare one. Les Claypool performing across multiple projects in a single night at one of the most unusual venues in the country. If you know who Les Claypool is, you already know whether you’re going. If you don’t: he’s one of the most inventive bass players in rock history, and Primus has been doing things on a stage that shouldn’t be possible for more than 35 years.
Between the Buried and Me with Imperial Triumphant and Fallujah — June 19
Progressive metal in a cave. Between the Buried and Me have spent 20 years making technically demanding, genre-defying music that rewards close listening. The Caverns’ natural acoustics add a dimension to heavy music that a traditional venue can’t replicate.
