Recommended Wedding Caterers

You arrange the catering for The Wedding Weekend, and you can bring any caterer or food truck you like. Caterers need to be licensed and insured. A truck can plug into our 50-amp RV-style outlet or run a quiet inverter generator; regular generators are too loud for the reception. If you’d rather not shop around, these are the two we recommend. Both are family businesses: Pyro Pies is our own food truck, and It’s Loaded belongs to our adult son.

Our weddings top out at 50 guests, so either truck can handle yours.

Pyro Pies Wood Fired Pizza

Pyro Pies bakes every pizza to order in a wood-fired brick oven built into the truck. The dough is stretched and the pizzas are topped and baked right there at your reception. Pick several toppings from the menu, or create a signature pizza just for your wedding. Salads, meatballs baked in the wood-fired oven, and pasta salad are on the menu too.

Served as an all-you-can-eat buffet or family style at each table, for up to 230 guests.

It’s Loaded

It’s Loaded is based right here on our property, so there’s no drive at all. The truck parks in the back parking area, close to the reception area, and dinner goes from the window to your guests hot.

Choose a pasta bar, a loaded baked potato bar, or an Italian menu, served either as the Loaded Bar (a buffet line with their staff serving) or as Loaded Stations, where each plate is built in front of the guest. There are vegetarian options. With everyone staying two nights, they can also cater every meal of the weekend or only the ones you want: a rehearsal dinner or welcome night, breakfast on the wedding morning, and breakfast or lunch the day after.

It’s Loaded already lists The Getaway on its insurance policy.

Contact either truck directly to check your date and get a quote. Spring and fall Saturdays book first. Everything else about the weekend, including dates, prices and tours, is on our wedding page.
